(Heb. Zethar’, , prob. Persian, either star [Gesen.] or sacrifice [Ftirst]; Sept. ; Vulg. Zethar), sixth named of the seven eunuchs of Ahtasuerus who attended upon the king, and were commanded to bring Vashti into his presence (Est 1:10). B.C. 483.
