Eliasis
( v.r. ), a name given (1Es 9:34) as that of one of the ” sons of Maani” who divorced their Gentile wives after the captivity, and corresponding in position to MATTENAI SEE MATTENAI (q.v.) of the Hebrews list (Ezr 10:33); but probably a merely erroneous repetition of ENASIBOS SEE ENASIBOS (q.v.) preceding in the same verse.
