Charles Garnier, Blessed

Martyr , born Paris, France , 1606 ; died Saint John’s village, Canada , 1649 . He joined the Society of Jesus, 1624 , went to Canada ; 1636 , and remained there for 14 years. During the Iroquois attack on Saint John’s village he was slain. Beatified , 21 June 1925 .
