Rehoboth-Hannahar

Rehoboth-Hannahar, or Rehoboth of the river, the birth-place of one of the Edomitish kings, named Saul (Gen 36:37). The river is, doubtless, the Euphrates, and the place is probably represented by the modern er-Rahabeh, upon the west bank of that river, between Rakkah and Anah.
