Ab Apostolici

Papal encyclical promulgated by Pope Leo XIII on 15 October 1890. It dealt with public affairs in Italy, describing them as the realization of the Masonic program involving hatred of the Church, abolition of religious instruction in school, and the absolute independence of civil society from clerical influence.
